Separated from his family, Kaka was locked in a narrow cage. He was no longer free to swing from branch to branch, no longer able to curl up in his mother’s warm arms.
Every night, Kaka curled up in the corner of the iron cage, thinking of his family, thinking of his mother’s arms, thinking of the days when he was free to play. He did not know if he would ever be able to return home, or if he would live forever in loneliness and suffering.
